7. Beginner Jewellery Workshop Summer School 12th -15th August 10am - 1pm
Ideal for the beginner, or if you have had a few jewellery lessons before. Each day you will learn to create a piece of sterling silver jewellery. You will cover the basics of jewellery making including hand piercing with a small jewellery saw, forming with hammers and mandrels, adding texture with a Rolling Mill, annealing and soldering, along with filing and polishing. You can personalise your pieces with hand stamping. The course includes the cost of materials for a ring, simple pendant and a couple of earring sets. Additional materials may be bought if you wish to design and make something of your own choice. Refreshments are included.
